Tuberculosis of Thoracic Spine

A 51-year-old gentleman had back pain. His pain worsened over 3 months and he also had significant weight loss

MRI revealed destruction of T9 and T 10 vertebra with pus and granulation tissue compressing on the spinal cord

CT scan showed gross bony destruction of T9 and T 10 vertebrae

He was operated with T9, T10 corpectomy, and reconstruction with Instrumented fusion T 6 to L1 through all posterior approach

He received anti-tuberculosis medicines for 9 months and could go back to his normal life in a period of 3 months
